We’ve rolled out a broad set of improvements across the platform over the past few weeks. A few of the most important updates include Company Controversy Summaries, portfolio management, a new heatmap, and an improved Legal AI Report.

Company Controversy Summary

The Company Controversy Summary is a new downloadable PDF generated directly from your TextReveal® dashboard in one click. It produces a complete, self-contained document that any reader can follow without prior knowledge of SESAMm. Every section includes plain-language explanations of what the scores mean and how the analysis was conducted, making it ready to drop into a presentation, send to a colleague, or attach to a deal memo. This replaces the previous Controversy Overview export button.

The report covers six sections: an executive summary, the Controversy Exposure Score (CES) and its evolution over time, monthly exposure charts by intensity, a full case list with UNGC classification, and a methodology appendix. The full case list includes every case matching your applied filters, with nothing summarized away. Each case includes intensity score, UNGC classification, ESG pillar tags, sub-risk categories, event count, and an AI-generated summary with source links.

Set the time range and filters before exporting and the report reflects exactly what matters for that review, whether it is a deal period, a compliance window, or a quarterly monitoring cycle. Applied filters appear on every page for full transparency.

Merged Heatmap and Treemap Visualization

The portfolio heatmap has been updated to combine case/event count and intensity color into a single, unified view. The result is a cleaner and more readable visualization, better suited for both on-screen analysis and PDF export.

Company Summaries in Your Language

Company summaries now display in the user’s interface language, including French, German, and Spanish. If you’ve been viewing summaries in English while working in another language, this update resolves that. Summaries are cached for performance, so you should see no impact on load times.

Richer Company Information

Entity pages now include richer company information, such as identifiers (ISINs, ticker, FIGI, LEI, Registration codes) and descriptive fields (ISIC Sectors, region, website).

Portfolio

CSV Export with Full ESG Data

You can now export your full portfolio or universe as a CSV file, with one row per company. Each row includes the Controversy Exposure Score (CES), UNGC classification, and Environmental, Social, and Governance distributions. The export runs asynchronously, so it works reliably even for large universes. The same data is accessible via the API Hub.

Drag and Drop Import

You can now drag and drop a file directly onto the portfolio page to import companies, without navigating to a separate upload screen.

The Legal Report has been upgraded with sharper output, powered by the latest model version. Two sections that were generating off-topic content have been removed, resulting in a tighter, more focused report.
